PROJECTS

[Ongoing] BenchCPU: A CPU benchmark Suite for Emerging Workload 2019 -- Present

BenchCPU is a CPU benchmark suite for emerging workloads, i.e. Big Data, AI, and Internet Services. Based on target-independent analysis, BenchCPU selects representative emerging workloads to eliminates biases in specific computer architectures/systems and get closer to the intrinsic behaviors of these workloads. This project also proposes a set of metrics for comprehensive evaluation.

[Ongoing] HPC AI500: A Benchmark Suite for HPC AI Systems 2019 – Present

HPC AI500 is a scalable benchmark suite for evaluating HPC system running scientific AI applications. This project also proposes a set of metrics for comprehensive evaluation, considering both accuracy, performance as well as power and cost.

AIBench: An Agile Domain-specific Benchmarking Methodology and an AI Benchmark Suite. 2019 -- 2020

AIBench proposes an agile domain-specific benchmarking methodology that speeds up software and hardware co-design. AIBench covers 16 representative real-world datasets widely used in AI scenario and provides 12 AI micro benchmarks and 16 AI component benchmarks.

DCMIX: Generating Mixed Workloads for the Cloud Data Center. 2017 -- 2018

DCMIX, a cloud data center benchmark suite, covers multiple cloud application fields and the mixed workloads’ execution mechanisms. DCMIX can generate mixed execution sequence of workloads by the user customization, and it supports the mixture of serial execution and parallel execution.
